Overview
The Pasochoa Wildlife Refuge is part of the system of Reserves and Parks created by the Ministry of Tourism. It is an important reserve that houses unique species of flora and fauna of the Andean forest; within this refuge, and with luck, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the emblematic bird of the Ecuadorian Andes, the Condor, as well as several species of birds such as: hummingbirds, guarro, blackbird, pitillo, quilico, among others. The diverse variety of flora with moorland species such as: Chuquirawa, valeriana, Pumamaki, alder, Polilepys, among others.
Our hike includes the ascent to two peaks of Pasochoa; the highest point marks 4,200 meters above sea level and where you will have a panoramic view of the caldera, as well as other important elevations such as: Antisana, Cotopaxi, Rumiñahui, Ilaló, etc.

ITINERARY
6:45 departure point.
7:15 First stop Trébol, second meeting point (optional).
9:00 Our adventure begins at the main access to the Runa-Urcu hacienda, near the town of Inchalillo, we will introduce ourselves to the group and do an important warm up before starting our adventure.
09:40 Start of adventure, from here begins the walk enjoying the majesty that mother nature gives us, until we reach the first summit, a light rest and continue with the next elevation, this tour lasts approximately 3 hours and a half with hydration stops every 45 min.
13:30 Break, we will take a break to eat our personal lunch at the summit of Pasochoa.
14:00 We will start the descent of Pasochoa.
16:30 We board the bus to return to our point of return at 18:00.
