The Archaeological Research Park "Cochasquí" in the province of Pichincha, Ecuador, is an important evidence of the pre-Inca civilization. The complex has 15 pyramids, 21 burial mounds and 4 site museums. Visitors can enjoy campfires and constellation viewing interpreted by specialised bilingual guides. A hike through the 15 pyramids is available to learn about the lunar and solar calendars.

The "Cochasqui" Archaeological Research Park is one of the most important evidences of the pre-Inca civilization in the province of Pichincha and its settlement pattern is different from those known in Mesoamerica and the Andes.
The Cochasqui complex, located in the parish of Tocachi, canton Pedro Moncayo, province of Pichincha, north of Quito, has 15 pyramids, 21 burial mounds, four site museums, 83.9 hectares of preserved archaeological area and preserves a series of historical, archaeological, anthropological, ethnographic and architectural studies, which represent the evidence to highlight the value of the Quitu-Cara culture.
We will set up our camp to enjoy a campfire and a view of the constellations, our specialized bilingual guides will interpret the legends and history of this remote place. We will enjoy a campfire with legends and stories with all the participants. On the second day we will hike through the 15 pyramids to learn about the lunar and solar calendars. Return to Quito.
