On the route of the condor, the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano is one of the must-see destinations, we will tour its surroundings reaching the José Rivas Refuge at 4864 meters, and then move to the Quilotoa crater, a volcano full of water in its crater of 3 kilometers in diameter at an altitude of 3,914 meters above sea level and with an emerald green lagoon, a perfect place to visit and take pictures. Continuing with the amazing remote places of Ecuador, it is the turn of Baños de Agua Santa, a small town that rises between the Central Andes and the Amazon of Ecuador, where we will enjoy its natural beauty and extreme sports.
Now, we will go a little further and we recommend you to bring a good coat, because we will cross the city of Riobamba, where temperatures vary from 5 to 22 degrees Celsius, and then visit the highest volcano in Ecuador, the "Chimborazo" which has an altitude of 6263 meters above sea level, followed by the first church of Ecuador, the Balbanera church and learn historical facts of our country. After a bit of history, we will admire a natural spot, admiring the landscape that gives us the Colta Lagoon, and then arrive at one of the most acclaimed destinations in Ecuador, the beautiful and declared World Heritage Site, the city of Cuenca.
Within the province of Azuay, we will visit the Ingapirca Ruins, the most important pre-Columbian archaeological site in Ecuador. In this site, located in the province of Cañar, lies the best preserved Inca architectural complex in the country. This archaeological complex of four hectares is a must for all those who want to know the Qhapaq Ñan - Andean Road System, because this site besides concentrating the Cañari culture (500 A.D.) was an important ceremonial area, which united various cultures throughout the Tahuantinsuyo and became, like Machu Picchu in Cuzco (Peru), symbols of the power of the Inca civilization.
In this circuit you will visit the Cajas National Park, which was recognized as a Ramsar site or Wetland of International Importance, due to the large number of lagoons that houses an important amount of flora and fauna of the country and after that beautiful walk, you can relax in one of the most comforting and relaxing places in the area, The "Piedra de Agua" Spa, where they specialize in offering health, wellness and relaxation treatments using water, mud and thermal vapors obtained from their own natural sources rich in minerals, which provide countless benefits for the body, mind and spirit.
Arriving at the last days of this adventure, we will visit the Jaguar Rescue Center, an act that will contribute to environmental conservation and preservation of emblematic species of Ecuador.
This circuit ends with a paradisiacal experience in the Enchanted Islands, the Galapagos Islands, where we will visit the Charles Darwin Station, Tortuga Bay Beach, Cracks and Alemane Beach and Upper Santa Cruz (Ranch + Lava Tunnels + Twin Craters).
